My first full cup of ...

A bird in the hand is safer than one overhead.
You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.
"A Wise Man can see more from the bottom of a well than a Fool can see from the top of a mountain." .
"You never test the depth of a river with both feet."
"Hear and you forget; see and you remember; do and you understand."

Sharon once again got on her headless chicken and went about her Sunday.
Equation of the day:
Not enough food + mocha + training + lack of sleep =?

Easter Sunday! What a wonderful occasion!
I serve a risen Savior! How cool is that?!
The first service went out to do saturation last Sunday to get the kids in the Geylang East area aware of the programmes we were going to run today. Praise God! The saturation was a success – new kids turned up for our special event! Not only that, there were children who gave their lives to Jesus! Oh happy day! ^-^
There are also people who have joined the BCM family as teachers. Nadia will be helping out in both the first and second service. Jason on the other hand will only be throwing himself into the workings of the second service. All the same, it’s nice to have new members in the family. :)
I also requested Ps. Cat to extend the deadline for the bulletin. She said yes and now I got a load off my shoulders…not for long anyway… the deadline is two weeks from now.

Did not go for second service today, instead, I went home to eat lunch and then go down to Seng Kang to meet Jie Yang and study.
But before I left church, I meet up with Kimiaki.
THANKS FOR THE MAGNET!!!!!
-great big giant huge hugz-
I thought that I was going to be late reaching the ‘check point’ , but Jie Yang ended up being later than I. We studied at the library for quite a while. Thank God I had JY there to help me move my grey matter. I find that if I study alone, my brain does not seem to absorb anything. Studying with other people around gets my neurons working. Being confused is a good thing, as long as the confusion is cleared up in the right way. Thanks JY! ^-^
From young, I have always stayed away from the beverage and I personally dislike the bitter taste that all coffees have.
Today, however, I broken tradition and took my first full cup of coffee. Mocha, to be exact. Why did I do it? I was falling asleep. O.o’’’ and I thought I might as well try the drink and get it over and done with.
Result?
Caffeine high. REAL high.
Conclusion?
I still do not like coffee. I don think I will take another cup unless absolutely necessary.

From SK, I went home to get changed and get ready for training. I would have stayed at home if not for the fact that grading is next Sunday. Oh how time flies~
As mentioned earlier, I was on a caffeine rush for at the beginning of training. From there, everything went down hill.
I guess I did not eat enough during lunch, so that’s probably why by the halfway mark of training, I was starting to feel very faint. Read that: VERY faint.
Blurred vision and the inability to hold myself up make for a rather scary experience. A big thank you to: Chi Fong, Fulin, Jeyanthi and Ian for looking out for me.
Thank you to Jeyanthi for lending me the text book. :D
Thank God I managed to make it home.
Must remember to eat more (but not too much), before training the next time round. *sigh*

Oddly enough, I am looking forward to studying for my exams now.
That’s a good thing right? O.o

American Idol 4 is shaping up to be even better than AI2. As you know, AI2 is my favorite solely because of Mr. Clay Aiken. During that season, I would rush to the computer after every episode and download the song(s) he sang. Too bad I lost all of them when my family switched to the new computer. He can serenade me anytime xia~ XD
But I digress…
This new bunch of finalists are not only good singers but have good showmanship as well.
Hang on!
I need to tell you about my theory about the winner of American Idol!
(please pardon the terms I use…it’s the simplest I can think of)
AI1 – Kelly Clarkson – White girl
AI2 – Reuben – Black guy
AI3 – Fantasia – Black girl
AI4 - ? – White guy (?)
That’s just my theory… anything could happen. Ah…the beauty of life. ^-^
And once again I digress!
I think the finalists are good and I happen to think that Anwar is totally awesome. Bo is also very cool. Constantine should be the next to go… I only like his name… heh~
-lapses into a day dream about Keanu Reeves-
*SIGH~*
Ahem!
As I was saying, this season is going to be awesome and it will be hard to decide who the next ou xiang will be…I wonder if my theory will hold any weight...hmmm…

I realize that though I am usually early for most of my appointments I have been making that mistake of being late on my friends…I am sorry guys… I will do my best to be on time from now on…or rather…I shall stick to my ‘early’ ways as much as possible. No promises though. -_-‘’’

Parveen-warveen-muffin-sugarbabe!
Movie orgy!!!! Food fiesta!!!! Can’t wait for my exams to be over… so many things to look forward to. :D Got any more ideas as to what to do when we next meet up?

Got this in an e-mail from Long Jie…enjoy!

A jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at a Multi-National Company. The HR manager interviewed him, then gave him a test, which was to clean the floor.

After that the HR manager said, "You are engaged, give me your e-mail address, and I'll send you the application to fill, as well as when you will start".

The man replied, " I don't have a computer, neither an email"

"I'm sorry", said the HR manager,"if you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job".

The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only 10US$ in his pocket. The man then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10 Kg tomato crate. He sold the tomatoes in a door-to-door round.

In less than two hours, He succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with 60US$. The man realized that he could survive this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, hismoney doubled and tripled day by day. Shortly later, he bought a cart, then a truck, then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles. 5 years later, the man became one of the biggest food retailers in the U. S. He started to plan his family's future, and decided to get life insurance. He called an insurance broker, and choose a protection plan.

When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him for his e-mail.
The man replied: "I don't have an email".
The broker replied curiously, "you don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Do you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?"

The man thought for a while, and replied: "an office boy at a Multi-National Company!"

The moral of this story:
1 - Internet is not the solution to your life.
2 - if you don't have Internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.
3 - if you received this message by email, you are closer to be an office boy, rather than a millionaire.

P.S.: Do not reply to this email, I am going to sell tomatoes... :p

Long day tomorrow…have a good week you all!
-hugs-
^-^
